Full Description
Before 22 July 1996.
Found while excavating for new pond:
Over 280 coins and post medieval pot.
1 Henry VII groat.
289 Henry VIII groats.
1 Henry VIII half groat.
Fragment of textile.
Most of rim/upper part and fragments of rest of Raeren jug, or possible container.
Before 1 August 1996.
11 coins and Roman sherds found when cleaning up afterwards.

27-29 December 2008. Metal-detecting.
Found during metal-detecting within garden of [1], in area where soil dug up in 1996 had been scattered:
32 post-medieval silver coins. With one exception these coins are groats of Henry VIII and clearly originally part of the hoard discovered during the 1996 excavations.
These coins were submitted as potential Treasure (Treasure case 2009 T70), see report in file.
