Summary

Fragments of Bronze Age, probable Iron Age and Roman pottery were found at this site during NAU fieldwork. These finds were recoverd to try and elucidate the cropmark NHER 33699.

Full Description

2000. Systematic Fieldwalking Survey.
Non-collection fieldwalking undertaken as part of archaeological assessment of Holkham Estate (Field 4).
200m east of the north to south road:
1 Bronze Age pottery sherd.
1 Iron Age pottery sherd.
9 Roman pottery sherds (greyware), towards south-west corner of field.
