Summary

Many medieval and post medieval metal finds were recovered by metal detecting at this spot. The highlights include a cut farthing of Stephen minted between 1154 and 1158 and two post medieval tinned spur buckles. Metal-detecting in 2011 recovered a Roman coin; a medieval silver penny, copper alloy coin weight and lead pot mends; medieval/post-medieval copper alloy cooking vessel fragments and post-medieval buckles, button, purse bar and harness mount.
