Full Description
6 July 1994. NLA air photography.
Visible as cropmarks in a field to northeast of Kempton Park Farm.
Two linear features, almost certainly ploughed out field boundaries.
One ring ditch, probably Bronze Age, although location is only accurate within a few hundred metres (images are very oblique).
M. Brennand (NLA), 13 March 2001.
September 2021. Aylsham and Brampton Aerial Investigation and Mapping (AIM) Project.
The previously recorded ring ditch (see above) has now been recorded as part of NHER 64253. The linear features have been recorded as part of NHER 64257 along with further multi period linear features identified as part of the Aylsham and Brampton Aerial Investigation and Mapping (AIM) Project.
J. Powell (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 27 September 2021.
