Full Description
15 July 1996. NLA air photography.
Complex group of overlapping cropmark enclosures and linears.
The main group of features appear to be a series of rectilinear enclosures, these may be related to settlement and field systems, possibly Late Iron Age-Roman in date.
A fairly broad ditched circular feature located at NGR TG 1360 2538 may be a ring ditch or circular enclosure, although it is not clear.
Several curvilinear geological bands and patterns run across the site. It is possible that the circular feature is also geological.
S. Massey (NLA), 11 November 2001.
