Map

June 2001. Visit. The Cottage, Todd's Yard, 22 Bridewell Street
Single cell two storey building, once the end of a terrace of houses extending eastwards. Stack on east wall with winding stairs on one side, closet on other. Later extension to south. Both have reused limestone; original walling contains early bricks as well, one with greenglazed header. However, all the openings have been remade several times and date of house could be any period from 1700 to late 19th century. Roof is of late date with dentilled cornice.

November 2002. Building Survey.
