28 August 1975. Site visit,
Brick kiln on (S1).
No trace of this now, brick field has been reclaimed for agricultural land.

Owners of 'End House' to the south state that a red patch appears on site of kiln after ploughing.
The brick pit is now the pond in their garden, and beneath the lawn there is a flint surface where horses pulled carts up to the road.
