Summary
Metal detecting at this site in 2001 recovered a Middle to Late Saxon possible strap-distributor mount with four animal head terminals. The mount is inlaid with silver and niello, and each silver panel is decorated with another fantastical animal.

October 2001. Metal-detecting.
1 Middle-Late Saxon mount from ?strap distributor with four animal head terminals (S1). The fitting was inlaid with silver and niello, and each silver panel is decorated with another fantastical animal.
