Full Description
Before 1842.
Stone axehead found near 'The Tulip Hills'. Old label read 'Found near Tulip Hills, West Lexham' but this hill and surrounding area are in Great Dunham parish. Examined petrologically (N12) and found to be a tuff from Pike of Stickle (Group VI). Geological Survey Enquiry 1505.
