Full Description
October/November 2001. Metal detecting.
Late Saxon Ae strap mount in form of a cross with expanded base which curves back to form a flnge, pierced by two rivet holes, iron in holes and on reverse, broken across further circular perforation through body, the upper vertical arm is missing, traces of bordering decoration. See for comparison (S1)'s Class A, Type 14, no. 348.
Dimensions of 33 x (at least) 35mm.
