Full Description
19 July 1996. NLA aerial photography. Cropmarks visible to the northeast of Bessingham Church.
In the northwest of the area are three relatively large ring ditches.
There are potentially two irregular enclosures associated with the ring ditches, although the underlying geology may be partially responsible for these anomalies.
Approximately 25km to the east is a square enclosure.
M. Brennand (NLA) 29 August 2001.
