Summary
Aerial photographs taken in 1996 show a peculiar set of parchmarks to the west of Park farm, within the boundary of Shotesham Park. Some of the marks may have a geological origin although a regular arrangement of linear features certainly appears to be caused by buried walls or pathways. This is the potential site of earlier farm or formal garden.

18 July 1996. NLA aerial photography.
A peculiar set of apparent parchmarks to the west of Park farm, within the boundary of Shotesham Park.
Some of the marks may have a geological origin although a regular arrangement of linear features certainly appears to be caused by buried walls or pathways.
Potential site of earlier farm or formal garden.
