Summary

Metal-detecting and fieldwalking have recovered Roman, Early Saxon, Middle Saxon, Middle Saxon/Late Saxon, Late Saxon, medieval and post-medieval objects. They include Roman and medieval coins, a Roman brooch, a Roman hair pin, fragments of Early Saxon wrist clasps, a post-medieval thimble and a late 6th or 7th century mount that features a head wearing a horned 'head-dress'.
