Summary

Metal-detecting between 2001-02 and 2013 recovered Roman, Late Saxon, medieval and post-medieval pottery sherds; Roman coins and Early Saxon and Late Saxon to post-medieval metal objects. The metal finds include an Early Saxon supporting-arm brooch; a Late Saxon openwork brooch; medieval and post-medieval dress accessories; a medieval lead pendant, thimble, ampulla and a number of seal matrices and a post-medieval furniture fitting and weight.
