Summary

A rapid identification survey carried out in 2000 to 2002 recorded the presence of three subcircular depressions with spoil banks, up to 4m diameter and one over 1m deep with a ramped access. These are thought to be indicative of extraction, possibly for flint.

Management Unit L1, Site 110:
Three subcircular depressions with spoil banks, up to 4m diameter and one over 1m deep with a ramped access. Unlikely to be military as this is within the Impact Area, unless they were dug before it was designated as such. They look more likely to be extraction, possibly for flint.
