Full Description
May 2002. Excavation.
Excavation of site on course of Anglian Water North Pickenham to West Bradenham Supply Main pipeline. This site was selected for excavation due to its proximity to a medieval moated site (NHER 8719).
Identified one small pit that contained charcoal and burnt flint but no dateable pottery.
See assessment report (S1) for further details. The results of this work are also summarised in (S2). Final publication awaited.
