June 2004.
At the north end of the range is an east to west building known locally as 'the chapel-like building'; it is of flint and brick, seeming late 19th century but apparently shown on (S1); it has an arched window in the east gable, two first floor windows to the south; the west wall has a brick arch against the exterior of the base.
Nothing seems to be known about the history or origin of this section and it is to be demolished.
E. Rose (NLA), 28 June 2004.
