Summary

An archaeological evaluation at this site in 2002 uncovered a ditch containing a single sherd of medieval/post-medieval pottery.

May-June 2002. Trial Trenching.
Evaluation of proposed development area (Trenches 1-4).
Soils heavily contaminated with diesel and little archaeological evidence identified. The only archaeologically significant feature was an east-west aligned ditch that produced a single sherd of 15th- to 16th-century pottery.

The associated archive has been deposited with the Norwich Castle Museum (NWHCM : 2018.184).
