Summary

Metal-detecting and fieldwalking during 2002 and later metal-detecting between 2010 and 2011 recovered an Iron Age pottery sherd; Roman, medieval and post-medieval coins including a post-medieval Portuguese coin and Late Bronze Age, Roman, Middle Saxon and medieval to post-medieval metal objects. The metal finds include Late Bronze Age awls; Roman brooches; a Middle Saxon polyhedral headed pin; medieval buckles, a lead disc pendant and a dagger scabbard chape and a post-medieval cloth seal.
