Summary

The south wall of this building suggests that it has its origins in the 17th century, and the rest of the building now mainly dates from the 18th century. In 1902 the building was converted into King's Lynn High School for Girls, which occupied this site until 1979. Between 1982 and 1986 the building was converted into flats. Inside is a late 18th century staircase and fireplace. It has been suggested that this is the site of the medieval guildhall of Corpus Christi, based on documentary evidence.

Old School Court.

December 1951. Listed Grade II.

Present building, former girls' school now flats, is dated in (S1) to 1790s with some scraps of 17th-century walling in south side. However (S2) argues that this is the site of Corpus Christi guildhall on documentary grounds, rather than site NHER 12914 as previously on the NHER.
