Full Description
August 2002. Trial Trenching.
Evaluation of proposed development site at former North Star public house, Lady Jane Grey Road.
No archaeological artefacts or remains were found. Evidence was found of probable large-scale truncation of the former land surface, associated with the construction of the 1950s housing estate in which the North Star public house stood.
See report (S1) for further details.
J. Allen (NLA), 17 September 2002. Amended by P. Watkins (HES), 18 May 2015 and A. Cattermole (King's Lynn UAD), 28 June 2018.
