Map

January 2001. NMP.
Possible tank cubes are visible at TF 6823 4255 on 1944 aerial photographs (S1), blocking an access road leading inland from the beach. These features are likely to date to World War Two, as part of the defence of the Norfolk coast, and would have hindered any attempts to progress inland, had they landed on the beach.
A. Hunt (NMP), 16 January 2001.
