Full Description
January 2001. NMP.
A 300m long section of minefield is visible as an earthwork between TF 7345 4399 and Tf 7375 4396 on 1945 APs (S1). It is situated just behind an earthwork bank (NHER 26901), on the fringes of the saltmarshes. The minefield is still just about discernible on 1952 APs (S2), although it is somewhat overgrown. The minefield would have been part of the World War Two coastal defences of the area.
A. Hunt (NMP), 25 January 2001.
