Summary

Fieldwalking and metal-detecting between 2002 and 2020 recovered Iron Age, Roman, medieval, medieval/post-medieval and post-medieval pottery sherds; medieval/post-medieval roof tile fragments; post-medieval clay tobacco pipe fragments; post-medieval jettons and a number of other, Early Saxon and medieval to post-medieval metal objects. These metal finds include an Early Saxon sleeve clasp; a Middle Saxon mount and silver pin; a Middle/Late Saxon strap end; a Late Saxon strap end; a Late Saxon to post-medieval copper alloy button or stud; medieval to post-medieval dress accessories; a medieval thimble and lead pilgrim badge; a post-medieval furniture drop handle, incomplete pair of dividers and silver pendant set with jet (possibly a pilgrim souvenir).

Late Saxon to post-medieval copper alloy button or stud.
The Middle Saxon silver pin was disclaimed as Treasure (Ref: 2019 T1227) and subsequently donated to Norwich Castle Museum.
