Map

May 2002. Norfolk NMP.
A group of linear field boundaries of probable medieval to post medieval in date are visible on aerial photographs (S1). The features consist of sinuous soilmarks of banks, aligned roughly east to west. These linears appear to be up to 9m wide, although this may be due to spreading by the plough. The northern group of linears may once have been one boundary running from TF 8043 4110 to TF 8117 4125, incorporating an existing woodland boundary. These are likely to be field boundaries or old hedge lines, possible late medieval to post medieval in date.
S. Massey (NMP), 17 May 2002.
