Map

September 2002. Norfolk NMP.
A group of linear cropmarks representing a series of parallel field boundaries are visible on 1974 OS aerial photographs (S1). These are all roughly east to west and following the same alignment of the modern field system. The longest of these is 250m long and they are all on average 50m apart. On a different alignment to the north of the site are several more irregular linear features. These may be earlier than the more regular field boundaries. Centred on TF 8340 4185 are several parallel linear features which may be part of a trackway.
S. Massey (NMP), 27 September 2002.
