Map

October 2002. Norfolk NMP.
Group of cropmarks of unknown date on NLA oblique aerial photographs from 1996, see (S1) and (S2), centred on TF 8414 4228. These consist of a possible trackway running from TF 8407 4226 to TF 8412 4226. The line of the southern ditch may continued from TF 8415 4226 to TF 8418 4226. Potentially measuring 106m in total. These linears are crossed by an additional linear running from TF 8412 4229 to TF 8412 4226. To the east of these, centred on TF 8417 4229, is a rectangular positive anomaly, measuring 10.5 by 3m. There has been some recent activity and cutting of trenches in the area for sewerage and water mains, so it is possible that this angular anomaly was created during these processes. Although it is possible that it is sunken floored feature of some sort. A possible pit is also located at TF 8417 4227, measuring 2m by 3m. Although this may be geological origin.
S. Massey (NMP), 2 October 2002.
