Full Description
October 2002. Norfolk NMP.
The earthworks of post medieval sea defence banks are visible on aerial photographs (S1). The slight earthworks of three stretches of bank, running from TF 8380 4494 to TF 8398 4503, are visible on Hunting Survey photographs from 1969 (S1). These banks all share the same alignment and are 47m long and 4.5m wide. They may have been part of the same bank at one point, although the fact that they are all exactly the same length may imply that they were constructed as such.
S. Massey (NMP), 3 October 2002.
