The earthworks of a probable post medieval to modern date drainage ditch is visible on aerial photographs
A linear feature visible on 1969 Hunting Survey vertical photography (S1). It appears to coincide with a bend in the creek that winds through the saltmarsh, utilised as a drain. It is probable that this is a drain or canalised section of the creek. It cuts across NHER 27039, which is likely to be a post medieval drainage system. Therefore this linear is probably also post medieval to modern in date.
