Map

July 2002. Norfolk NMP.
An area of probable post medieval drainage is visible on aerial photographs on Burnham Norton marshes. An area of parallel linear features are located in the drained saltmarsh, mapped from 1969 vertical photography by the Hunting Survey (S1). These linears have the appearance of late ridge and furrow, although this seems unlikely given the location. They may be part of a drainage scheme related to the post medieval improvement of the marsh.
S. Massey (NMP), 16 July 2002.
