1946 RAF aerial photographs reveal a long stretch of ditch or drainage feature, which appears to be a canalised creek in the inter tidal zone (S1). It is 230m long about between 4 to 6m wide. This ditch is probably related to the post medieval drainage and improvement of the saltmarsh.
