Map

May 2002. Norfolk NMP.
An oblong/oval pit, 18.5m by 6m at its widest, located on the Brancaster saltmarsh and visible on RAF aerial photographs from 1953 (S1). This is likely to be a post medieval to modern date pond-like feature, possibly a fishpond, or a storage or over wintering pit, such as a oyster bed. The southern end of this site appears to be linked to the main creek by a small, meandering channel.
