The cropmark of ploughed out bank, running from TF 8142 4515 to TF 8142 4499, is visible on 1946 RAF aerial photographs (S1). It is approximately 145m long and 8.5m wide. This bank is likely to have been part of the post medieval coastal defences and enclosure of the saltmarsh.
