Summary

This small timber framed house is of 17th century date. The western gable end is built of brick and the roof is thatched. At the rear there is a 20th century extension. Inside is a 17th century fireplace and apotropaic poker burn marks.

Listing Description Excerpt:
"Early 17th century cottage. Exposed timber-frame with close studding. Steep gable-ended roof thatched and clad in corrugated iron. West gable end late 17th century brick with crow-stepped gable and chimney. Two storeys. Two windows. Small modern casements. Central modern door and modern glazed porch."

Small timber framed house with brick firebay on west end and overall attic with queenpost roof; late 17th century. 17th century fireplace. Apotropaic marks on downstairs bressumer and upstairs braces.
