Summary

Metal detecting in 2002 and 2003 recovered two late medieval or early post medieval copper alloy vessel fragments, a sherd of medieval unglazed pottery and part of a medieval buckle.

2002-2003. Metal detecting amongst late post medieval and recent metal objects. Finders' field T12.
Body sherd medieval unglazed pottery, 12th-14th century (weight 4g).
Outside edge with baluster mouldings from buckle, stubs of sides flaring outwards (38-41mm). Therefore more likely to be single rather than double-looped, for comparison see (S1). 13th century.
