Full Description
October 2002. Metal detecting.
Post-medieval copper alloy knife end stop, broken, circular-sectioned with remains of inserted iron tang, flaring to trefoil platform with integral cast fully-round collared and baying hound (forelegs on ground, hindquarters raised, 20 (at least) x 24mm. Late 16th-17th century.
