Summary

Metal-detecting between 2002 and 2007 recovered prehistoric worked flints including a scraper, blade, flakes and a Late Neolithic/Early Bronze Age knife; Late prehistoric, medieval and post-medieval pottery sherds and Roman or Middle Saxon and medieval to post-medieval metal objects. The metal finds include a Roman or Middle Saxon pin; a medieval buckle and strainer; medieval/post-medieval copper alloy vessel fragments and a post-medieval crotal bell, lead weight and unidentified copper alloy object.
