Summary

A number of prehistoric objects were found on the lands of Park Farm, East Winch, from 1967 onwards. This record details the unprovenanced pieces, which include a ?Upper Palaeolithic/Mesolithic blade; an Early Neolithic leaf arrowhead; Neolithic scrapers, blades, flakes and knives; Late Neolithic/Early Bronze Age plano-convex knives, scraper, ?dagger tip and projectile point and a quartzitic pebble.

Collection of prehistoric flint object found on arable lands of Park Farm, donated to Norwich Castle Museum in 2003. Farmhouse stands at TF 7030 1505. See NHER 3917, 38126 and 38127 for details of the specifically located finds in this collection. The unprovenanced pieces include:
1 ?Upper Palaeolithic/Mesolithic broken blade from two-opposed platform core (NWHCM : 2003.59.7).
1 Early Neolithic leaf arrowhead (NWHCM : 2003.59.3).
12 Neolithic scrapers (NWHCM : 2003.59.5).
2 Neolithic flake knives (NWHCM : 2003.59.6).
1 Neolithic retouched flake (NWHCM : 2003.59.8).
3 Neolithic blades and 9 flakes (NWHCM : 2003.59.7).
1 Late Neolithic/Early Bronze Age dagger or knife tip (NWHCM : 2003.59.9).
1 Late Neolithic/Early Bronze Age kite-shaped projectile point (NWHCM : 2003.59.10).
5 Late Neolithic/Early Bronze Age plano-convex knives (NWHCM : 2003.59.11).
1 Late Neolithic/Early Bronze Age thumbnail scraper (NWHCM : 2003.59.12).
1 quartzitic pebble, possibly utilised as rubbing stone (NWHCM : 2003.59.13).
