Summary

Fieldwalking in 2003 and metal-detecting in 2012 recovered several fragments of Roman pottery, a Roman figurine or mount, a foot from a medieval to post-medieval copper alloy vessel and undatable casting waste.

Full Description

Before 12 March 2003. Surface finds in small area [1].
Roman greyware: 2 jar rims, 1 base and 4 body sherds (161g).
Samian: 1 body sherd decorated central Gualish, 2nd century (3g).
