Summary
In 1992 excavation of underpinning pits to the rear of this building uncovered made ground at a depth of about 3m. This homogenous dark brown material contained some flint pieces.

Full Description
March 1992. Excavation of underpinning pits in area 10 x 8m at rear of building (since demolished for Castle Mall). Uncovered made ground at a depth of about 3m. Homogenous dark brown material with some flints.
