Summary
Nos 1 to 3 St Michaels and Nos 7 and 8 St Leonards are two terraces of workers housing, uniquely constructed by the Norwich Gas Company out of slag and overfired bricks from the gasworks. Although they have been rejected for listing by English Heritage they are regarded as worthy of preservation by Norwich City Council.

Full Description
Nos 1 to 3 St Michaels Terrace/Nos 7 and 8 St Leonards Terrace.
Two terraces of workers housing constructed by the Norwich Gas Company out of slag and overfired bricks from the gasworks. Put forward for listing by B. Ayers (NAU) around 1980 but rejected. However City Council regarded as worthy of preservation by city council.
