Summary

No 2 Old Market Place, and adjoining house to south is a two-storey 17th-century timber-framed and stuccoed building with a steeply pitched black glazed pantile roof with gable ends. No 2 has a modern shop window with a perspex fascia sign, and the building has odd segmental hoods for the windows, compared to eyebrows. There is a carriageway through the centre with exposed joists inside, and a plastered 17th-century wing at the rear of the house to south.

Listing Description excerpt:
"17th century. Timber-frame, stuccoed. Steeply pitched black glazed pantile roof with gable ends. Two storeys. Three windows. Later sashes with and without glazing bars, casement first floor centre. No 2 has modern shop window with perspex fascia sign."
