Summary

Archaeological observations were carried out at this site in 2002 after work to install a new base to the buildings here uncovered several post medieval crypts. These crypts dated to the late 1700s and related to a Baptist chapel that once existed in this vicinity. This particular burial ground became redundant after 1856 and it and the associated chapel were built over in 1914.
