Full Description
(S1) mentions a loopholed wall, site only vaguely known; but (S2) notes this location (now back of Cumpsteys Butchers) also site of air raid shelter and water tank for fires.
E. Rose (NLA), 25 April 2003.
May 2007. Norfolk NMP.
Of the World War Two defences described above, only the static emergency water tank is visible on the consulted aerial photographs, on (S3)-(S4) at TG 4018 1050. It is visible as a circular structure, similar to those identified in some numbers at Great Yarmouth.
