Summary

The site of a small building dating to the early 20th century, demolished in 2003. Although known recently as the 'bike shed' it appears to have originally been a lavatory. It was made from mainly resued material, to a modest design.

Assessment of building known as the bike-shed. This structure dates to the early 20th century and was probably originally a basic lavatory.
Its appearance is relatively simple, although it has been designed to be in keeping with its surroundings.

Maintained during demolition of workmen's toilet and subsequent landscaping.
Structure dismantled by hand, revealing some additional information on the fabric.
