Summary

In 1972 a Late Neolithic/Early Bronze Age barbed and tanged flint arrowhead was found at this location. Subsequent metal-detecting between 2012 and 2023 has recovered Roman, medieval and post-medieval coins; a post-medieval jetton and a number of other metal objects, including Roman brooches and a furniture fitting; a Late Saxon/medieval staff or sceptre terminal; medieval horse harness pendants, a harness fitting, buckle, rotary key, thimble and copper alloy nested cup weight
