Summary

Metal detecting in 2006-2007 recovered several medieval and post medieval metal objects. It had previously been reported that the cropmark of a possible enclosure, of unknown date, may be visible on this site and that Roman and medieval pottery sherds have been recovered from the area. However, no evidence has been seen by Norfolk Landscape Archaeology staff. A thorough examination of the available aerial photographs by the National Mapping Programme in 2008 did not identify any archaeological features at this site.
