Summary

A modern bombing range marker and a military building are visible as an arrow shaped structure and a rectangular structure on 1946 RAF vertical images. The building is presumably where the target could be stored and the man can sit whilst on target duty.

Map

October 2002. Norfolk NMP.
The marker is in the form of a light coloured arrow, with a length of approximately 13m (S1). The arrow is pointing north into The Wash, and may be directing planes towards a wreck (NHER 27758), although there were a range of targets within The Wash. The building is presumably where the target can be stored and the man can sit whilst on target duty.
M. Brennand (NMP), 1 October 2002.
