Map

June 2003. Norfolk NMP.
A series of water channels and probable water meadows (S1) along the sides of a stream marked as St Katherine’s Creek on the NHER map, but labelled as Stones Brook on Faden’s map (S2). A series of channels run parallel to and at right angles to the creek, for a total length of 530m. Most of the features are individual linear features or channels although there some more dense parallel running features, more closely resembling classic water meadows, at TF 6411 2321 and TF 6447 2319. These features are all likely to be post-medieval, probably 19th century, in date.
M. Brennand (NMP), 23 June 2003.

August 2022. Analytical Earthwork Survey.
Examination of southern portion of westernmost field.
This survey failed to identify any linear earthworks associated with the previously identified remains – possibly due to their shallow nature. The only features of note are a number of large mounds, although aerial imagery suggests these are potentially associated with 20th-century dumping.
See report (S3) for further details.
P. Watkins (HES), 28 July 2025.
