Map

January 2002. Norfolk NMP.
A circular bank with a possible internal depression can be seen as an earthwork on Hunting Survey aerial photographs from 1969 (S1), and on ADAS images from 1970 (S2)-(S3). It has a diameter of about 14m and there appears to be a gap/entrance way in the bank to the southwest. Thus it has the appearance of a ‘horse shoe’ shape, though it does look like it may once have been a complete ring. The origin and date of this feature are uncertain. However, there is a similar site located a short distance to the southwest (NHER 26742) at NGR TF7013 4372.
H. Clare (NMP), 9 May 2002.
